  • 2 medium Zucchini
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 9-inch Pie crust
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 small Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Whole milk
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Grated mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.125 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh basil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Wash and thinly slice the zucchini, then place the slices in a colander. Sprinkle with 0.5 teaspoon of salt and let it sit for 10 minutes to draw out excess moisture.
