Ingredients

  • 12 oz Fettuccine
  • 2 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 3 pieces Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 piece Zest of a lemon
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the noodles and set aside.

Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and black pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
