  • 2 pounds chicken wings or drumettes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 2 large eggs

  • 4 cups vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup ketchup
  • 0.25 cup gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken wings with salt and black pepper in a large bowl.

In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and cornstarch together.

Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and then mix in the cold water.
