  • 100 grams chocolate chips (optional)
  • 50 grams walnuts or pecans (optional, chopped)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a square 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.

In a medium heatproof bowl, melt the butter and semi-sweet chocolate together over a saucepan of simmering water (double-boiler method). Stir occasionally until smooth, then remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
