Ingredients

  • 6 slices Thick-cut bacon
  • 1 large Ripe vine tomato
  • 3 leaves Crisp romaine lettuce
  • 4 slices Sourdough bread
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Cook the thick-cut bacon in the skillet until crispy, about 4-6 minutes per side. Remove the bacon and let it drain on a plate lined with paper towels.

While the bacon cooks, slice the vine tomato into thin rounds and lightly season the slices with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Wash and pat dry the romaine lettuce leaves.

Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
