Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground turkey
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 medium, finely chopped Onion
  • 2 minced Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.25 cup fresh chopped Parsley

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and milk. Let them sit and absorb the milk for about 5 minutes.

Step 3

In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the finely chopped onion until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly.

Step 4

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, soaked breadcrumbs, cooled onion and garlic mixture, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and dried thyme. Use your hands or a spatula to mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

Step 5

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Lightly shape the turkey mixture into a loaf on the baking sheet.

Step 6

In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup and Dijon mustard until well combined.

Step 7

Spread the ketchup mixture evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Step 9

Once cooked, remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Step 10

Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
