  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped

  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups dry macaroni
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 leaf bay leaf
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Break it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
