Ingredients

  • 1 pound Turkey breast, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 medium Carrots, julienned
  • 2 pieces Celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 medium Green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups Cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup Bean sprouts
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 pieces Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 4 cups Cooked white rice (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of soy sauce with the cornstarch and sesame oil. Mix well, then add the sliced turkey breast. Toss to coat and let marinate for 10 minutes.

Step 2

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated turkey and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet. Add the onion, carrots, and celery, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.

Step 4

Stir in the green bell pepper, cabbage, bean sprouts, garlic, and ginger. Continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Step 5

In a small bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, and water. Pour the mixture into the skillet and bring to a simmer.

Step 6

Return the cooked turkey to the skillet and toss everything together to combine. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken slightly.

Step 7

Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions.

Step 8

Serve hot over cooked white rice, if desired.
