Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked turkey
  • 1 cup Frozen mixed vegetables
  • 0.5 cup Cream of chicken soup
  • 0.5 cup Grated cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 8 biscuits Refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked turkey, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, grated cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until evenly mixed and set aside.

Step 3

On a clean, floured surface, roll out each biscuit dough piece into a flat circle approximately 5 inches in diameter.

Step 4

Place about 2 tablespoons of the turkey mixture into the center of each rolled-out biscuit.

Step 5

Fold each biscuit over to form a half-moon shape, gently pressing the edges together. Use a fork to crimp and seal the edges.

Step 6

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash. Brush the egg wash over the top of each turnover to promote browning.

Step 7

Place the turnovers onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 1 inch of space between them.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the turnovers are golden brown and cooked through.

Step 9

Allow the turnovers to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!
