Ingredients

  • 1 large baguette
  • 200 grams cooked pork or chicken
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 medium, julienned carrots
  • 1 medium, julienned daikon radish
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 bunch, fresh cilantro
  • 1 small, sliced cucumber
  • 1 small, sliced jalapeño
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine julienned carrots and daikon radish with sugar, salt, and rice vinegar. Toss well to combine and set aside to pickle for at least 15 minutes.

Step 2

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the cooked pork or chicken and pour 2 tablespoons of soy sauce over it. Stir fry for about 5-7 minutes until thoroughly heated and well coated. Season with black pepper.

Cut the baguette lengthwise and lightly toasting it until it's crispy on the outside.
