Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized Roma tomatoes
  • 1 medium-sized white onion
  • 0.5 cup (finely chopped) fresh cilantro
  • 1 medium-sized jalapeño pepper
  • 1 medium-sized lime
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the Roma tomatoes, white onion, cilantro, and jalapeño pepper under cold water.

Dice the Roma tomatoes into small, evenly sized pieces and place them in a medium-sized mixing bowl.

Peel the white onion, dice it finely, and add it to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Finely chop the fresh cilantro leaves and measure out about 1/2 cup. Add the cilantro to the mixing bowl.
