Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 3 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 14 ounces Crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Chicken broth
  • 12 ounces Spaghetti or penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken breasts on both sides with 0.5 teaspoon of salt and 0.5 teaspoon of black pepper.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
