  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 60 milliliters water
  • 2 stalks green onions
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons pepper

Directions

Step 1

Slice the beef sirloin thinly against the grain into bite-sized pieces. Place in a bowl and mix with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and a pinch of salt. Let marinate for 10 minutes.

Step 2

While the beef marinates, mince the garlic, grate the ginger, and thinly slice the onion. Cut the tomatoes into wedges and chop the green onions into 5 cm (2-inch) pieces.

In a small bowl, mix the oyster sauce, ketchup, sugar, remaining soy sauce, and water to make the stir fry sauce.
