Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Baguette
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 6 leaves Fresh basil leaves (optional)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2-inch thick pieces to create about 8-12 slices, depending on the size of your baguette.

Brush one side of the baguette slices with olive oil and place them oiled side up on the prepared baking sheet.
