Ingredients

  • 400 g Pasta (penne, fusilli, or spaghetti)
  • 300 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 200 g Fresh mozzarella
  • 15 g Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water before draining.

While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
