Ingredients

  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 0.75 cups Granulated sugar
  • 5 large Egg yolks
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cups Caramel sauce
  • 6 pieces Tim Tam biscuits

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and salt. Heat the mixture over medium heat until tiny bubbles form around the edges. Do not let it boil.

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar together until the mixture is pale and smooth.

Gradually pour about half of the warm cream mixture into the egg yolks, whisking constantly, to temper the eggs and prevent curdling.
