Ingredients

  • 1 kg boneless chicken thighs
  • 200 g plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 400 g tomato puree
  • 250 ml heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2 green chilies, sliced (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, grated ginger, minced garlic, garam masala, ground cumin, coriander powder, cayenne pepper, and salt.

Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for more flavor.
