  • 1 kg boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 200 ml plain yogurt

  • 1 large onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 400 g tomato puree
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro
  • 100 ml water

Directions

Step 1

Start by cutting the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Place them in a large mixing bowl.

Add yogurt, lemon juice, 0.5 tbsp garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix well to coat the chicken. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight, to tenderize and absorb the flavors.
