Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken thighs (boneless, skinless)
  • 200 grams Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 0.5 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

1. Add the garlic and ginger to the Thermomix bowl. Process for 5 seconds on Speed 7 to finely chop.

2. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix for 10 seconds on Speed 4 until fully combined to create the marinade.

3. Place the chicken thighs in a large mixing bowl. Pour the yogurt marinade over the chicken and mix until the chicken is fully coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best results).
