Ingredients

  • 1 pinch Saffron strands
  • 1 cup Water
  • 10 pieces Ice cubes

Directions

Step 1

Soak the almonds, cashews, pistachios, poppy seeds, and fennel seeds in 1 cup of water for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.

Peel the soaked almonds by gently pinching the skin off. Discard the skin.

In a blender, combine the soaked nuts, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, cardamom pods, and black peppercorns. Blend into a smooth paste using the soaking water as needed.
