Ingredients

  • 2.25 teaspoons Instant yeast

  • 4 tablespoons Butter (for mopping glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons Honey (for mopping glaze)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.

Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the milk and heat until lukewarm (about 110°F), then remove from the heat.

Crack the egg into a small bowl and beat it lightly.

Add the lukewarm milk mixture and the egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until the dough comes together.
