Ingredients

  • 400 grams firm tofu
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Drain the tofu and press it to remove excess moisture. Wrap the tofu block in a clean kitchen towel or paper towels and place a heavy object on top for 10-15 minutes.

Once pressed, cut the tofu block into 4 even slices, roughly 1/2 inch thick.

Step 3

In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, maple syrup, minced garlic, grated ginger, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended to form the marinade.
