Ingredients

  • 500 ml Fresh tangerine juice
  • 200 grams Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 teaspoons Powdered gelatin
  • 60 ml Cold water

Directions

Step 1

Pour the cold water into a small bowl and sprinkle the powdered gelatin over its surface. Let it sit for 5 minutes to allow the gelatin to bloom.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan, combine the tangerine juice, granulated sugar, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Do not let the mixture boil.

Step 3

Once the sugar is dissolved, remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the bloomed gelatin until it is fully dissolved into the warm tangerine mixture.

Step 4

Allow the mixture to cool for 5-10 minutes before pouring it into individual serving dishes, molds, or a glass container.

Step 5

Place the jelly in the refrigerator and let it set for at least 4-6 hours, or until firm.

Step 6

Optional: Garnish with fresh tangerine segments or a sprig of mint before serving. Enjoy your homemade tangerine jelly!
