  • 2 cups Refried beans
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 cups Shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup Crumbled queso fresco
  • 1 cup Mexican crema or sour cream
  • 1 cup Salsa (your choice: red or green)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Directions

Step 1

Heat the refried beans in a skillet over medium heat and season with a pinch of salt if needed. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Spoon about 2 tablespoons of refried beans onto one side of a tortilla, spreading it evenly, and fold the tortilla in half to form a taco. Press gently but firmly to seal. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and beans.
