Ingredients

  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1.5 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 0 Optional toppings: sour cream, shredded cheese, chopped cilantro, diced avocado

Directions

Step 1

In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the diced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened.
