Ingredients

  • 8 medium Tomatillos
  • 1 whole Jalapeño pepper
  • 2 whole Garlic cloves
  • 0.5 medium White onion
  • 0.5 cup Cilantro
  • 1 whole Ripe avocado
  • 1 whole Lime
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 tablespoons Water

Directions

Step 1

Remove the husks from the tomatillos and rinse them under warm water to remove the sticky residue.

Step 2

Place the tomatillos, jalapeño pepper, and garlic cloves on a dry skillet or griddle over medium heat. Roast them for about 7-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they develop char marks and soften.
