Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff pastry sheet (thawed if frozen)
  • 12 slices Salami slices
  • 120 grams Cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 30 grams Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 6 pieces Cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 piece Egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon Milk (for egg wash)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Step 2

Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a clean surface and cut it into 12 equal squares.

Step 3

Place the squares onto the prepared baking tray, leaving some space between each piece.

Step 4

In a small bowl, beat the egg and milk together to make an egg wash. Brush the edges of each puff pastry square with the egg wash.

Step 5

Cut the salami slices in half and fold each piece into a cone shape. Place one folded salami piece at the center of each puff pastry square.

Step 6

In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped parsley, garlic powder, and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.

Step 7

Transfer the cream cheese mixture into a piping bag or a resealable plastic bag with one corner snipped off. Pipe a dollop of the mixture into the center of each salami cone.

Step 8

Top each tartlet with a halved cherry tomato, pressing it gently into the cream cheese filling.

Step 9

Bake the tartlets in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.

Step 10

Remove the tartlets from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Step 11

Garnish with additional parsley if desired and serve warm or at room temperature.
