Ingredients

  • 2 pieces whole sea bream, cleaned and scaled
  • 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 pieces lemons, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 100 milliliters dry white wine (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.

Rinse the sea bream under cold running water and pat dry with paper towels. Make three diagonal cuts on each side of the fish, ensuring they are deep but not all the way through.

Season the inside of each fish with a pinch of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Stuff the cavity of each fish with 2 sprigs of rosemary, 2 sprigs of thyme, a tablespoon of chopped parsley, and a couple of lemon slices.
