Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups long-grain white rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 0.5 cups heavy cream
  • 0.25 cups parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the long-grain white rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Set it aside.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan, bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and then stir in the rice. Cover, reduce the heat to low, and let it simmer for 15 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed. Remove from heat and set aside.
