Ingredients

  • 3 whole Red bell peppers
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 120 g Cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

Wash the red bell peppers and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 3

Roast the bell peppers in the oven for 20 minutes, turning them halfway through, until the skin is charred and blistered.

Step 4

Remove the peppers from the oven and transfer them to a bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a plate to trap the steam. Let them sit for 10 minutes.

Peel the charred skin off the cooled peppers and discard the stems, seeds, and membranes.
