Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 2 sleeves Ritz crackers
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Step 2

Place the Ritz crackers in a food processor or a ziplock bag. Crush them into fine crumbs using the processor or a rolling pin.

Step 3

Transfer the crushed crackers to a shallow dish and mix in the ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Step 4

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk to create an egg wash.

Step 5

Season the chicken breasts lightly with salt and pepper on both sides.

Step 6

Dip each chicken breast into the egg wash, ensuring it's fully coated, then press it into the cracker mixture. Turn to coat evenly and press the crumbs onto the chicken to help them stick.

Step 7

Place the coated chicken breasts onto the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of each piece of chicken.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).

Step 9

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Step 10

Optional: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving. Pair the dish with mashed potatoes, a fresh green salad, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
