Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 240 ml Buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons Ranch seasoning mix
  • 120 grams All-purpose flour
  • 120 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 30 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 pieces Eggs
  • 500 ml Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, about 1-2 inches in size.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk and 1 tablespoon of the ranch seasoning mix. Add the chicken pieces and toss to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.

Step 3

In a shallow dish, combine the flour, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and the remaining tablespoon of ranch seasoning mix.

Step 4

In another shallow dish, lightly beat the eggs.

Step 5

Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off any excess buttermilk. Dip each chicken piece into the beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture. Press the coating firmly onto the chicken to ensure it sticks.

Step 6

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (180°C).

Step 7

Carefully place the chicken nuggets into the hot oil in small batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).

Step 8

Use a slotted spoon to remove the nuggets from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Step 9

Serve the Ranch Chicken Nuggets warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch dressing or honey mustard.
