Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground pork
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 50 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 pieces Burger buns
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 8 slices Tomato slices
  • 4 slices Cheese slices (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons Ketchup
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, breadcrumbs, and the egg. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Step 2

Divide the pork mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty, about 1.5 cm thick.

Step 3

Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat and add the olive oil. Once hot, place the patties in the pan.

Step 4

Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and fully cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F or 70°C). If using cheese, place a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to let it melt.

Step 5

While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns in a separate skillet or toaster, if desired.

Step 6

Assemble the burgers by spreading 1 tablespoon of ketchup and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf, two slices of tomato, and the cooked pork patty on top. Cover with the top half of the bun.

Step 7

Serve immediately with your favorite sides, such as fries or a fresh salad.
