Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Almond flour
  • 0.5 cup Tapioca starch
  • 0.75 cup Coconut milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, tapioca starch, baking powder, and salt.

Step 2

In a separate small bowl, mix the egg and coconut milk until well blended.

Step 3

Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until you get a smooth batter.

Step 4

Finely mince the garlic cloves and chop the cilantro. Add them to the batter along with the chili flakes and mix well.

Step 5

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil.

Step 6

Once the skillet is hot, pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the skillet to form a bread circle. Use the back of a spoon to spread it evenly.

Step 7

Cook for about 2-3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface and the bottom is golden brown.

Step 8

Flip the naan and cook for another 2 minutes until the other side is golden brown.

Step 9

Remove from the skillet and repeat with the remaining batter, adding more coconut oil to the skillet if necessary.

Step 10

Serve warm, garnished with extra cilantro and a pinch of chili flakes if desired.
