Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Fresh oysters
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley
  • 0.5 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Lemon wedges

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven's broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with rock salt or crinkled foil to help keep the oysters stable during cooking.

Step 2

Scrub the oysters clean under cold running water. Carefully shuck the oysters, discarding the top shells and leaving the oyster meat in the bottom shells. Arrange the shells on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 3

In a small pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Finely mince the garlic and add it to the butter, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from the heat.
