Ingredients

  • 5 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Blanch the broccoli florets by cooking them for 2-3 minutes, then drain and transfer to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Drain again and set aside.
