Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Red snapper fillets
  • 2 whole Oranges
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Step 2

Zest one orange and set the zest aside. Then, juice both oranges into a small bowl.

Step 3

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, olive oil, minced garlic, thyme leaves, paprika, salt, black pepper, and honey. Mix well to combine.

Step 4

Pat the snapper fillets dry with paper towels and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down if the skin is still on.

Step 5

Brush the orange juice mixture generously over the fish, ensuring even coating. Sprinkle the orange zest over the top of the fillets.

Step 6

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque all the way through.

Step 7

While the fish is cooking, chop the fresh parsley finely.

Step 8

Once the snapper is done, remove it from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.

Step 9

Serve immediately with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
