Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Popcorn kernels
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil (for popping)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 sprigs Fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Orange zest
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground black pepper (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large, heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat and add the olive oil.

Add two or three popcorn kernels to the pot and cover with a lid. When they pop, the pot is ready for the rest of the kernels.

Add the rest of the popcorn kernels to the pot, cover, and shake the pot gently to distribute the oil.

Allow the kernels to pop, shaking the pot every few seconds to prevent burning. Once the popping slows down to about 2 seconds between pops, remove the pot from heat.
