Ingredients

  • 4 oz Orange juice
  • 1 oz Vanilla vodka
  • 1 tbsp Heavy cream (optional for creamier texture)
  • 4 oz Champagne or sparkling wine
  • 0.25 tsp Orange zest
  • 1 tbsp Granulated sugar (for garnish, optional)
  • 3 pieces Ice cubes

Directions

Step 1

Start by preparing the glass. Run an orange slice around the rim of a champagne flute, then dip the rim into a shallow dish of granulated sugar to coat it. Set aside.

Step 2

In a cocktail shaker, combine the orange juice, vanilla vodka, and heavy cream (if using) with 3 ice cubes. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds until well-chilled.

Step 3

Carefully strain the mixture into the prepared champagne flute, filling about half of the glass.

Step 4

Slowly top off the glass with champagne or sparkling wine, pouring down the side of the glass to preserve the bubbles.

Step 5

Garnish with a pinch of orange zest for added fragrance and serve immediately.
