Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Boneless pork chops
  • 1 packet Onion soup mix
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water

Directions

Step 1

Season the pork chops with the onion soup mix, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and black pepper. Rub the spices evenly on both sides of the pork chops.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Transfer the seared pork chops to a plate and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pan to deglaze it. This will release all the flavorful bits stuck to the pan.

Step 4

Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the heavy cream. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Step 5

In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Gradually stir the slurry into the skillet sauce to thicken it.

Step 6

Return the seared pork chops to the skillet, covering them with the sauce. Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the pork chops are fully cooked and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Step 7

Serve the pork chops hot, drizzled with the creamy onion ranch sauce. Pair with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
