Ingredients

  • 2 cups Buttermilk
  • 0.5 cups Vegetable oil
  • 2 pieces Large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Raisins (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the flour, wheat bran, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Mix well and set aside.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and fold gently until just mixed. Do not overmix.
