Ingredients

  • 12 cups Water
  • 4 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 4 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 units Lemons, halved
  • 1.5 pounds Red potatoes
  • 4 ears Corn on the cob, cut into thirds
  • 1 pound Smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1.5 pounds Snow crab legs
  • 1 pound Shrimp, raw and deveined
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Fill a large stockpot with 12 cups of water and bring it to a boil over high heat.

Step 2

Once the water is boiling, add Old Bay seasoning, minced garlic, and the halved lemons. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the flavors into the water.

Step 3

Add the red potatoes to the pot and cook for 10 minutes, or until they are slightly tender.

Step 4

Add the corn on the cob and sliced smoked sausage to the pot. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Step 5

Carefully add the crab legs to the pot and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 6

Finally, add the shrimp to the pot. Cook for 2–3 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and are fully cooked through.

Step 7

Turn off the heat and use a large slotted spoon to transfer the seafood, sausage, and vegetables to a large serving platter or a lined table for serving.

Step 8

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and mix in parsley, salt, and black pepper. Drizzle this butter sauce over the seafood and vegetables.

Step 9

Serve immediately, optionally garnished with extra lemon wedges and additional parsley.
