Ingredients

  • 350 g spelt flour
  • 100 g whole wheat flour
  • 50 g rolled oats
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 325 ml warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp rolled oats (for topping)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the spelt flour, whole wheat flour, rolled oats, yeast, brown sugar, and salt.

Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until the dough starts to come together.

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
