  • 0.25 cup Golden raisins
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well and set aside.

In a medium saucepan, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.

Add the cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, and bay leaf. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
