Ingredients

  • 1 cups Whole milk
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 whole Large egg
  • 2 tablespoons Room temperature unsalted butter (for brushing)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, salt, ground nutmeg, and instant yeast.

In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter over low heat until the butter melts and the mixture is warm but not hot (about 110°F).
