Ingredients

  • 200 grams Hazelnuts
  • 200 grams Granulated sugar
  • 5 Eggs
  • 50 grams All-purpose flour
  • 50 grams Butter (melted and cooled)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar (for decoration, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line a 20 cm (8-inch) round cake pan with parchment paper.

Toast the hazelnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant.
