Ingredients

  • 300 ml Whole milk
  • 75 grams Unsalted butter
  • 500 grams All-purpose flour
  • 75 grams Granulated sugar
  • 10 grams Active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 large Egg

Directions

Step 1

Heat the milk in a small saucepan until lukewarm (approximately 37°C or 98°F). Do not allow it to boil.

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the butter until melted. Let the mixture cool to lukewarm temperature.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, ground cardamom, and salt.
