Ingredients

  • 4 scoops Vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup Cornflakes cereal
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or chocolate syrup (optional, for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)
  • 2 pieces Cherries (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Scoop 4 even-sized balls of vanilla ice cream and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze the ice cream balls for 1 hour or until they are very firm.

Step 2

In a large ziplock bag, crush 1 cup of cornflakes cereal until they resemble coarse crumbs. Alternatively, pulse them in a food processor for a few seconds.

Step 3

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the crushed cornflakes, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Stir frequently and toast the mixture for 4-5 minutes, until golden brown and fragrant. Remove from the skillet and let it cool completely.
