Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter directly into an 8x8-inch baking pan and place the pan in the preheated oven for 3–4 minutes, or until the butter is completely melted.

Carefully remove the pan from the oven and swirl the butter around to grease the sides of the pan.

Add 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the melted butter in the pan. Using a fork or spatula, mix until the sugar is dissolved.
