Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground pork or chicken
  • 2 cups Green cabbage
  • 1 cup Carrots
  • 3 stalks Green onions
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 package Egg roll wrappers
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 unit Egg (lightly beaten)

Directions

Step 1

Finely shred the cabbage and carrots, and chop the green onions. Mince the garlic.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground pork (or chicken) until completely browned. Drain any excess oil if needed.

Step 3

Add the shredded cabbage, carrots, green onions, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables soften.

Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes to combine flavors, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
